As temperatures have started to come down, we do need to warm up one way or another. So even though this stew takes a bit of time, it’s mostly just letting it sit and heat up so why not try it 😉

Ingredients (for 5 people) :
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1kg beef
– 1 carrot
– 2 onions
– 1 celery
– 1 shallot
– 2 garlic cloves
For the seasoning :
– 600ml red wine
– 120ml water
– 2 bay leaves
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 3 tsp sugar
– 1 beef bouillon cube
– a dash of salt
